Ok so school started on the 20th and by now I’ve been through a full week!! *Hallelujah Chorus…* I’m a senior in high school and so here’s my schedule every day 5 days a week:
Band – it’s completely horrible and awful and I hate it and I’m only staying so that I can still do solo competitions! Seriously, it’s called a tuner clarinets.. use it and flutes/trumpets… practicing really does wonders for the ears!
Choir – IT”S AMAZING I LOVE IT!! ask me for the c.d. from last year! There’s nothing like singing with 149 other people who can also sing.
AP English Lit. & Comp. – good class, but every story we’ve read so far has a terribly depressing ending, which I suppose comes with the territory of reading interpretive fiction.
Spanish II – It’s going to be fine but my teacher looks like George Lopez, I kid you not and I don’t really remember anything from freshman year Span. I except “me llamo” means “my name is..” and “no se” is code for “i don’t know”
College Algebra – So far so good, I can still understand the book work and that’s always a good sign,, but we’ll see! I do like Mrs. O____ she seems to be a pretty good teacher.
Zizzerette – It’s the newspaper staff at my high school… don’t ask me what it means.. but I like it and we just go CS4 put on the computers!!!!
Personal Finance – online, easy peasy, graduation requirement. nuff said
ACT Prep – taking it next semester but if what Audrey/Lauren say is any indication, it’s going to be awfully boring!
Ok so anyway, I’m in choir. Apparently Mrs. D___ thought I was good, so I’m also in Swing Set and Madgrigals!!! So I get to do extra practice, and perform more AND go to Kansas City to the renassaince festival which is going to be amazing.
